The things that I'm missing the most are undos for the mixer settings, namely fader, EQ and comp, and remembering that I had the program windows maximized, so that it starts maximized the next time I open the session. Mixbus 32C sounds amazing and I like the workflow, so I don't mind paying the upgrade fee just to support the continued development, but it would be good to see some more useful features added in the new major version! I'm not using Mixbus for tracking, so I haven't tried the TapeX yet. I've done 2 mixes in the meantime with no crashes, so it seems more stable than v6 for me (which was also not bad in this department). Are they failures because they don't mesh well with my process? No. I don't have a Mac, but, for example, I don't like Reaper, Ableton, or Bitwig. It's also getting better and better at the creation portion (at least recording). A lot of people create then mix as completely different steps in their process - which I'm sure works just as well for them as your process does for you. Different tools for different people and different needs. You can't get the Mixbus32C experience and sound in those DAWs, so are those failures? No. Have a great weekend! Then dont use Harrison mixbus. Mixbus 32C is not for everything but this soft has something special and unique. You can not replace Lineage by Hapi or Hapi by Lineage that's all. After buying my HAPI MK2 (waiting for it !!! I count the days for receiving the beast !!!!) I'll buy asap a Harrison Lineage for sure. Mixbus is a different daw for different use and different color. It's a great product but it is not reaper, studio one, protools, live, samplitude or pyramix. When I need a certain color, I import my tracks/stems on 32C. Have a great weekend!Mixbus 32C is perfect for final mixing, kind of 32C on our set. It´s that simple! If you're happy with it for your demands, thats fine, good for you. If a developer still thinking this is the way to go as a DAW, for me they failed with their product.
